Eintracht’s new signing

Eintracht Frankfurt’s defending has just made a great addition with the signing of Nikola Petković from Crvena zvezda to a contract through June 2012. He is a tough, sturdy defender who will work into Friedhelm Funkel’s system perfectly and had been coveted by many clubs throughout Europe. Capped seven times as a Serbia U-21, he has been assigned number 3 in the roster and will play his first match this Saturday against SpVgg Greuther Fürth.
